Tips for optimal blooming pleasure

Place the Bromeliad in a bright spot, but avoid direct midday sunlight. Most Bromeliads should be watered in the central cup, which serves as a water reservoir for the plant. If the cup is empty, simply add some water. Exception: The Aechmea is one of the few Bromeliads that prefers watering via the soil instead. The soil should remain lightly moist but never waterlogged. Bromeliads are hardy survivors. Thanks to their strong roots, they require little maintenance and will bloom beautifully for 3 to 6 months.
