Easy care thanks to WaterWick

Is caring for plants difficult? Not with WaterWick! This smart and sustainable watering system ensures that your plant absorbs exactly the right amount of water. Here’s how it works:

1. Add water
Take a decorative pot that is waterproof and fill the bottom with water. Important: the growing pot itself should not stand in the water. This prevents root rot.

2. Place the plant
Place the plant with the WaterWick in the decorative pot. In a tapered pot, the growing pot will often stay in place by itself. If this is not the case, place some stones on the bottom so that the pot is stable and the wick can absorb the water properly.

3. Easy care
Sit back and relax! The plant regulates its own water needs via the wick. All you need to do is top up occasionally, especially in summer when your plant is a little thirstier.

Tips for optimal blooming pleasure

The Anthurium grows best at temperatures between 20°C and 22°C. Place it in a bright location but avoid direct sunlight. Watering is easy thanks to the integrated watering system. Here’s how it works: All Mimesis Anthuriums from pot size 9 cm and up come with a WaterWick system. This allows the plant to absorb the right amount of water itself. Your job? Place the Anthurium in a waterproof decorative pot and add a small layer of water. Make sure the wick touches the water – the plant will do the rest! Important: The nursery pot should not sit directly in the water. If your decorative pot isn’t tapered, place some stones at the bottom for elevation. For botanical Anthuriums, check the top layer of soil. If it’s dry, it’s time for a drink!
